DOORMAT QUESTIONS
How big are your doormats, and what are they made from?
All my mats are standard size: 60cm x 40cm. They’re made from natural coir (coconut husk fibres) with a non-slip PVC or latex backing. The larger size is currently unavailable, and I’m waiting for more stock to become available.
How do I care for my doormat?
Your mat is happiest in a shaded, dry area. To clean it, give it a quick shake or gentle vacuum. Avoid constant water exposure and direct harsh sun to keep the design looking fresh. You can read my full Doormat Care Guide here.
Do you take custom orders for doormats?
Absolutely! I love creating personalised designs. Just get in touch via the contact page or check out the custom options in the shop.
What type of paint do you use?
I use a special outdoor paint that is UV resistant and made to last. Every design is painted by hand in my Sydney studio, one brushstroke at a time.
BOOK SAFE QUESTIONS
What kind of books do you sell?
A mix! You’ll find new books, vintage books, and well-loved other titles. Each chosen for its character, cover art, or cult favourite status. Everyone has a unique charm.
Are they really made from real books?
Yes! Each book safe is made from a real book.
Can I request a custom book safe using my own book?
Not at this stage. Book safes are fiddly to make, and not every book makes it through the process. I’d hate to damage a beloved copy you sent me.
How often do you add new book safes?
Usually every week and sometimes more! Keep an eye on the store or follow me on socials for the latest drops.
SHIPPING & RETURNS
Who do I use for postage and why?
I ship with Australia Post because they deliver all across Australia, including PO Boxes and rural areas - reliable and reachable.
What happens if I’m overcharged for postage at checkout?
If the system overcharges you for postage, don’t worry. I’ll refund the difference back to your original payment method.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes! If you are near the postcode 2137, you’re welcome to pick up your order. Just use code LOCALPICKUP at checkout to remove the shipping cost, and I’ll be in touch to arrange collection.
Do you ship overseas?
At this stage, I only ship internationally to the USA.
Can I return my order?
I happily accept returns on non-custom items. Just contact me within 7 days of receiving your order, and return it within 14 days in its original, unused condition. The buyer is responsible for return postage. Please note: Custom or personalised orders cant be returned, as they’re made just for you.
