Every now and then I come across a book that’s so wonderfully illustrated that I don’t really mind that I can’t find its name.
This one is a beauty.
The cover, spine and back are covered in a colourful illustrated scene featuring trains, rainbows and dragons, with bright yellow original endpapers inside decorated with a fun sock pattern.
Those original endpapers have been kept inside the hollowed-out compartment, so when you open the book safe, you get another little surprise waiting for you.
