This one is definitely a little different.
Upcycled from a copy of Fashion through the Ages, this unusual book safe has a fabric yellow and black illustrated fabric cover designed to look like a little carry bag, complete with a press stud closure.
Open it up and the disguise continues. The original inside has been transformed with fresh new papers and a hidden compartment, creating a wonderfully unexpected place to tuck away something special. (maybe your savings for those new killer pair of shoes)
It's quirky, unusual and definitely a conversation starter. The stort of piece that makes someone look twice when they spot it on your bookshelf.
And because it's unlike a traditional-looking book safe, it would make a particularly fun gift for someone who loves fashion, vintage finds or things that are just a little bit different.
The press stud closure is decorative only. While it gives the book its fun carry bag appearance, it does not secure firmly enough to be used as an actual bag.
There is also a small mark on the back of the book safe. I've photographed this clearly so you can see it before purcashing.
