From the outside, it looks like a lovely old book on the shelf, complete with its illustrated cover, but inside, there's a hidden compartment, perfect for storing jewellery, keepsakes, or small valuables. The deep cavity makes it especially useful for items you want to keep nearby but out of sight.
Inside the hollowed space is a vintage-inspired dragonfly print, adding a quiet little surprise when the book is opened. Each book is carefully hollowed out in my Inner West Sydney studio, preserving the original book's character while creating a practical hidden storage space.
