This vintage copy of Cole's Fun Doctor: First Series has been carefully transformed into a deep hollow book safe. A discreet place to tuck away jewellery, keepsakes, letters or other little things you'd rather keep out of sight.
The fun vintage illustrations on the cover and spine give it plenty of character, while the original opening has been keep intact. Inside the deep hollowed compartment, an original page from the book adds one more little piece of its history.
It's a real vintage book with a new purpose, handmade and upcycled in my Inner West Sydney studio.
