This large vintage copy has been carefully upcycled into a hidden book safe, creating a generous secret compartment for letters, trinkets or other small treasures. From the outside, it looks like a well-loved book, complete with a skull and crossbones embossed on the brown cover. Open it up and the original illustrated endpapers add another piece of the book's character.
It's practical enough to use, but interesting enough to leave sitting on your bookshelf in plain sight.
